As reported in the Somerset County Gazette, March 10 1900: A serious accident happened on Saturday last to a young man in the employ of Mr. Greenway, named Richard Sealey. While riding on a load of hay he slipped down between the horse and cart. The horse kicked him and the wheel of the cart went over him. He remained insensible for some considerable time. Dr. Bunny of Bishops Lydeard was sent for and under his care we hear the young man is getting on as well as the serious nature of the accident will permit |
