| Halse under the Hospitallers A.D. 1155-1450. The Church is now served by a Chaplain appointed by the Sub-Prior who lives at Halse Water, with a few Brothers of the Order. History repeats itself for, at the next vacancy of the living of Halse, the two parishes which have been separated for nearly 500 years will again become one. F.J.Montgomery |
